They will also discuss how interfacing an effective admissions process with technology is the best strategy for providers who are faced with the challenges of achieving and maintaining a quality census mix and then getting paid for it. With profit margins being low to begin with, you will learn how an effective admissions process helps to minimize billing compliance risks, bad debt write offs, and ensure that revenue is received in a timely fashion to support the cash flow needs of operations and growth.

The presentation will identify some of the challenges and barriers encountered when reviewing and selecting an outcomes library and the advantages of implementing American Health Care Association’s recommended ‘Within Public Domain’ library, an avenue for therapy departments to evaluate the effectiveness and demonstrate the value of therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
